THE 4th WORLD MUSIC GRAND PRIX: "SUKIYAKI SONG MUSIC PRIZE"

This music competition Grand Prix is held on a semiannual basis, with prizewinning songs and honorable mentions announced on the Internet.

• The deadline for the 5th World Music Grand Prix: "The World's Most Ear-grabbing Song" is March 31, 2009.

Entry Rules

• Any genre (ballad, rock, pop, hip-hop, jazz, folk, instrumental, etc.)
• Length per song must be between 150 seconds and 420 seconds.
• Songs that are already on general release will not be accepted. In the case of songs that are registered with JASRAC (Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers), or with musical copyright organizations in the U.S. such as ASCAP, BMI and SESAC, the length of the song will be limited to 60 seconds. We appreciate your understanding.
• Accompanying photographs, pictures, and animated graphics will appear along with your song if selected to qualify.
• Entry method: If you wish to enter this competition by email, please send your song to music@eggcity.jp as an attachment in mp3 format. If you wish to submit your song in CD format by post, please send it to the address below.

• Important Notes:
  1. Entries are limited to original songs and lyrics.
  2. There are no entry restrictions by age or sex.
  3. Both amateurs and professionals are invited to participate.
  4. Please make sure that you have given a title to the song.
  5. Please include your name, pen name (if any), age and occupation.
  6. It should be noted that if you send a cassette tape or CD by post, it will not be returned to you.
  7. Various rights such as the right of distribution via the Internet and the right to release CDs pertaining to the songs that have won either the Grand Prix and/or the Award of Excellence shall belong to the Organizer.
  8. Portions of the Entry Rules may be modified at the Organizerfs discretion. The Organizer does not bear any responsibility or liability for any losses or inconveniences incurred as a result of such modifications.
  9. Comments received may be used for the purpose of promoting services or associated products, and we appreciate your understanding in this regard. When sending comments it shall be deemed that Dream Egg has been granted the right to utilize the content thereof free of charge and non-exclusively (including reproduction, disclosure, transmission, distribution, transfer, loan, translation and adaptation), and that the personal rights of the songwriter shall not be used against this company.
